About Me
This is my 11th year at Rippowam Middle School, and I’ve been so fortunate to be part of such an inspiring community of educators, students and parents. It is my mission to help my students grow and develop into better readers, writers, thinkers and lifelong learners, both in and out of the classroom.
I am a Stamford native and graduate of Westhill High School. Prior to my time teaching at Rippowam, I attended the George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where I earned a bachelor’s degree in English and competed as a NCAA Division I student-athlete on the swim team. I later attended Sacred Heart University, where I earned a master's degree in education and Fairfield University, where I earned a master's degree in school counseling.
My passions include reading, writing, music, movies, art, sports, animals and the great outdoors. In addition to teaching, I currently coach competitive swimming.
